Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy is required. Must be eligible to write or have passed the National Respiratory Certification Exam. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. Active member of the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT).
Preferred Qualifications:2–3 years of recent critical care experience in a tertiary neonatal and pediatric setting. Oriented to the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Certified in NRP/PALS. Experience includes transport/ECLS teams, CISM, charge therapist, student preceptorship, and quality improvement initiatives. Active in committees and practice change implementation. Strong clinical documentation and task management skills.
