Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy is required. Current valid CARTA practice permit is required (a provisional practice permit is required for graduate RTs who are eligible but have not written the National Respiratory Certification exam). The incumbent must have passed or be eligible to write the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care (CBRC). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference given to Respiratory Therapists or Respiratory Therapy graduates with neonatal and pediatric experience. CSRT membership, NRP, PALS. Participation on committees and experience related to developing quality initiatives and implementing changes in practice.
