Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. Graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy is required. 2-3 years critical care experience in a tertiary care teaching hospital with neonatal and/or pediatric experience. The incumbent must be eligible to write or have passed the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care (CBRC).

Preferred Qualifications:

Current active registration in good standing with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA); Responsible to maintain registration with CARTA throughout the duration of employment. Case room experience strongly preferred. Current CSRT membership, PALS, NRP and neonatal transport experience preferred.
