Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 completion as well as completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Respiratory Therapy. Successful completion of the National Respiratory Certification Exam is required. This position requires current registration in good standing as a Certified Asthma Educator (CAE) and COPD Educator or Respiratory Educator. Current basic life support (BLS) is required at all times. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, will have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and will be able to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR instructor certification and completion of the TEACH and QuitCore training programs is preferred.
