Required Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in a health or science related field. Registration with applicable professional association or college where required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

2-5 years Clinical trial or Clinical research experience. Highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic with proven problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates ability to take initiative and work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be flexible, multitask and work well under pressure. Effectively coordinate simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Work efficiently and in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, GCP and ICH guidelines, SOPs and Policies. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Effective communication skills. Precise documentation skills. Previous/current experience working with acute stroke patients and/or working within the emergency department is an asset. Experience/training in venipuncture is an asset. Knowledge of MS Word & Excel, Gmail, Data Entry programs. Experience with Netcare & Connect Care an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Pharmaceutical trials and sponsors. Experience with University of Alberta Research Ethics applications and process. Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Health Canada Division 5 certificates
