Required Qualifications:

The Research Associate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, as responsibilities will include drafting of scientific manuscripts, strategic reports and presentations. The successful candidate will be experienced and comfortable in sourcing out and collating information (e.g. peer-reviewed and grey literature, other sources), for the purpose of conducting both rapid reviews and more comprehensive literature/environmental scans, which will be used to inform scientific and operational directions. The successful candidate will be proficient in designing and answering research questions using data management and statistical analysis, using appropriate methodologies. The candidate will be able to function highly independently, with excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. They should also be comfortable in a fast learning environment and exploring topics that may be unfamiliar. Expertise in cancer and health and lifestyle factors (diet, physical activity) is considered an asset. PhD preferred, MSc plus experience will be considered.
