Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree in a health or science related field or Certification as a Clinical Research Associate through the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
Additional Required Qualifications:Degree in a health or science-related discipline; or successful completion of an accredited health record administrator program; or Certification as a Clinical Research Associate through the Society of Clinical Research Associates. 4-5 years recent experience working as a Clinical Research Associate or Clinical Research Coordinator in a health care setting, or as an integral member of a clinical research team. Ability to effectively and efficiently coordinate studies, including clinical trials, from start-up to close-out. Proficiency in data management and reporting including electronic submission of information. Experience abstracting and reporting complex patient information from hard copy and electronic patient record systems. Training in ICH/GCP standards. Skills with Word and Excel. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Oncology and/or Pediatrics. Experience in COG protocols. Masters degree. Membership in SOCRA or possession of ACRP.
