Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current registration with the appropriate professional college (CARNA or CRPNA) or association is required. Training in crisis intervention, assessment and case management skills are essential, preferably in a community setting would be an asset. This position will require the successful candidate to posses the ability to ambulate, climb stairs and move quickly without limitations in a variety of environments. Experience in the mental health field is essential, preferably in a community setting. A knowledge of community integration skills, computer proficiencies, and well developed written and verbal skills is required.
