Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years of recent experience in child and adolescent community/acute addiction and mental health. Excellent assessment and communications skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:Must have a diploma or degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing - degree preferred. Preference given for experience working in an Emergency or other high acuity area. Involvement in family teaching and knowledge of community programs related to Child & Adolescent Mental Health is preferred. Connect Care experience is preferred.
