Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:Demonstrated aptitude with computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of recent experience administration. Current experience with VAC dressing, tube feeds, TPN, wound and skin care. Working in acute hospital setting with complex surgical and medical experience. Prior experience with electronic health record systems (Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) and Medworxx experience an asset). Current certification with central lines, blood glucose monitoring, PCA, PCEA, Narcan administration, IV insertion, infusion and medication.
