Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous/Current experience working with the care of the elderly and transition team.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous or current acute hospital nursing experience. Demonstrated strength in critical thinking and cost effective measures. Basic IT skills. Co-act. Conflict Management and promotion of a positive work environment. Care of the Elderly related courses. Discharge Planning. Clinical audit. Demonstrated time management through flexibility and reliability.
