Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year acute medical experience in the last 2 years. Ability to manage the job classification of “heavy physical demand” level as per the AHS Job Demands Summary. Proven ability to function in an acute medical environment. Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organization skills. Proficient with SCM and clinical documentation standards. N95 fit tested. It’s Your Move certified.
Preferred Qualifications:CVC certification. Chest tube care and management.
