Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Neurosurgical nursing experience in the last 2 years is required. TPA experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:EVD experience preferred. Demonstrates leadership and critical thinking skills. Commitment to working with a dynamic healthcare team interested in advancing the care of Neurosurgical and Neurology patients. Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills to adapt in this fast paced environment. CNA Neurosciences Certification an asset. Charge experience an asset. Previous experience orientating new staff an asset.
