Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three (3) years within the past five (5) years of public health experience. Minimum two (2) years within the past four (4) years’ experience in an STI Clinic or Sexual Health Experience with Contact Management. Strong communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of population health.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered. Experience with First Nations Inuit Health (FNIH), Indigenous and rural communities, outreach work and harm reduction. Experience in phlebotomy and collection of throat and rectal swabs. Experience documenting in CDOM and other electronic health records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
