Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:2-3 years of experience working within Addiction & Mental Health settings and be able to perform psychosocial interventions to treat a substantial disorder of thought, mood, perception, orientation, or memory that impairs judgment, behavior, and capacity to recognize reality or ability to meet ordinary demands of life. Advanced knowledge of addiction, mental illness, and concurrent disorders as well as evidence-informed treatment and an ability to identify and provide support for concurrent disorders and medical co-morbidity are preferred requirements of this position.
