Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years related and relevant experience is required. BLS. Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training. Risk Assessment. Suicide Intervention Training. Current registration and in good standing with appropriate professional body. Must be authorized to perform restricted activities as defined by the appropriate professional association. Authorization to do mental health psycho-social intervention is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of community resources relevant to the needs of individuals with Addiction and Mental Health issues preferred. Sound judgement, good problem solving skills, excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with community stakeholders required.
