Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years nursing experience required. Minimum of 2 years palliative care experience in the last 5 years required. Familiarity with Meditech, Netcare and Microsoft applications required. Commitment to continuing education in palliative care and to significantly expand knowledge and skills in short period of time required.
Preferred Qualifications:CNA Palliative Care Certification preferred.
