Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:Required qualifications: Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Graduation from a recognized nursing education program. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification. Completion of Registered Perioperative Nursing course or equivalent Operating Room experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in the operating room and/or post-anesthesia recovery room. Canadian Perioperative Nursing Certificate (CPNC). Post-Anaesthesia Care Nursing Course. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Membership with Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC).
