Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. OHN Certificate (consideration may be given to complete within three (3) years of hire. Ability to assess and evaluate new employees in relation to physical demands of the position. Ability to function in a dynamic work environment. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees, co-workers, physicians, and public.
Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health Nursing in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred (healthcare experience an asset). B.Sc.N. and OHN Completion or in the process of completing Occupational Health Nurse certification. Experience in Occupational Health field an asset.
