Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. Possession of a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle for work related travel is required Ability to work in different settings and environments, as well as be able to lift and carry supply bags, which weigh approximately 25-30 lbs. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage in meaningful and solution-focused discussions with stakeholders and partners is imperative
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience within the last 2-5 years working with geriatric population in community or an acute care setting is considered an asset. Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Certification is required (or evidence in process of completing)
