Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent (within the last year) experience with care and assessment of the newborn.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent level II NICU experience (within the last year). Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification. Experience in the role of Charge Nurse in the NICU. Experience as a member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Team. Successful completion of a Neonatal Intensive Care Course. Lactation course/certification.
