Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Certification in IV Therapy required. 1-2 years IV Therapy Department experience is required. Ability to function independently and within a team environment required. Strong leadership, excellent communication and decision making skills required. Intermediate computer skills required. Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in the community sector will be considered.
