Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:Current Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Current Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Demonstrated strong prioritization and assessment skills required
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum one year current Emergency Nursing experience required; two years preferred. Current Certification in Emergency Nurses Paediatric Course (ENPC), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred. Graduation from Advanced Critical Care Nursing (ACCN) in Emergency preferred. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
