Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 3 years recent acute care experience. Minimum 2 years recent ER experience. Triage (Recent CTAS Training) nurse and/or Charge nurse experience. Connect Care Training. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI). As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Current certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Current certification in Emergency Nurses Paediatric Course (ENCP). Current certification in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Advanced Critical Care Nursing (ACCN) certification. Strangers in Crisis.
