Minimum Salary: $39.21

Maximum Salary: $51.46

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 1-year direct crisis experience required. Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Addiction and Mental Health setting preferred. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (or successful completion as part of clinical orientation) is required. Demonstrated knowledge of the application of the Mental Health Act, Consent and Capacity, and other legislation relevant to the practice of psychiatric/mental health nursing is required. Formal clinical training in triage, intervention, stabilization and case management skills.
