Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience working on a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience working at Rotary Flames House. Charge Nurse experience. Basic computer skills (MS office, Outlook). Ability to communicate fluently both verbal and written in English.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered. Current CPR-ACLS and N95 fit testing preferred. Two years or more nursing experience in pediatrics within the last 5 years preferred. Canadian Nurses Association Hospice Palliative Care Certification (CHPCN) preferred. Completion of “How to Care, What to Say” workshop preferred. Experience and proficiency with Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) preferred.
