Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Administration Certificate (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)

Additional Required Qualifications:

Diploma in Nursing required. Graduation from a recognized Nursing education program.Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta required (CARNA). Minimum of two years current nursing experience. Intermediate level of computer skills; excellent organizational and time management skills with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to perform all duties in accordance with related legislation. Note: This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum one year experience in a community-based setting preferred. Assets include: recent experience working with acute clients and/or long-term clients with a focus on chronic disease management; Home Care experience preferred.
