Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Two years’ experience in the last three years working as a Registered Nurse in acute care or emergency department or recently graduated in the last one year. The place of work is in a community designated for Canada Student Loan forgiveness as outlined in https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/education/student-aid/grants-loans/repay/assistance/doctors-nurses/amount.html. You may be eligible for the Rural Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program if you meet other eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current certification in IV therapy, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS). Connect Care training and emergency experience an asset.
