Minimum Salary: $44.56

Maximum Salary: $60.98

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completed Accredited Perioperative Nursing Course. Current BCLS certification required (ACLS / PALS desirable). Ability to perform consistently in a highly organized, rapid moving, complex environment. Ability to collaborate within the expectations of a highly complex integrated team. Demonstrated advanced problem solving skills integrating critical thinking and good judgment. Demonstrated communication skills promoting respect and team spirit. Able to do On-Call/Call back and weekend shifts. Ability to stand scrubbed for many hours and to meet the physical demands of the position. Ability to wear lead apron protection for an extended period of time. Basic computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in the operating room. Ophthalmology and Urology Surgery Experience. Canadian Perioperative Nursing Certificate (CPNC). Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Membership with Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC).
