Registered Nurse
Your Opportunity:
Are you looking for a new opportunity that will allow you to build on and enhance your scope of practice? An opportunity where you will use your knowledge, skills and experience to build relationships with your clients and team members? Home Care could be the exciting new challenge for your career. Home Care has transformed into a fast paced, dynamic environment which will have your days filled with different health related concerns, activities and tasks (i.e. palliative therapies, home parenteral therapy, wound care and much more). One day will not be the same as the one before or the one after. Working in home care will give you a different perspective and approach to providing client care. You will report to the Home Care Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and providing quality care to clients in the community. You will provide nursing assessment, case coordination and direct care in partnership with clients and their families in their own residence or an alternate care setting, as determined by the assessment.
Description:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values. PLEASE NOTE: Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour. Upon obtaining a full practice permit, the rate of pay will be adjusted to the applicable Registered Nurse rate in accordance with UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii), as applicable.
