Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)
Additional Required Qualifications:CVC and PICC certification. Minimum 2-3 years' experience with IV initiations. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Diagnostic Imaging including Interventional Radiology. Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine. Must be able to work all shifts as assigned. Must be able to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time. Must be able to work around nuclear material/radioactivity. Must be able to handle competing demands for attention, frequent interruptions and code response. Must be able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:Clinical Trials training/experience. Previous experience in Cancer Care.
