Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Administration Certificate (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful applicant will be receptive to and participate in unit and site change initiatives. If you have recently received your CRNA permit, and have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last 5 years (excluding new graduates), completion of the FREE NextGenU Health Assessment Resources course – enroll here in these 2 courses. Preferred Qualifications:CTAS. Lead II. CAM-B. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.
