Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience in Acute Care Nursing, Women’s Health and/or Labor and Delivery and Emergency Room Nursing required. Current experience with Wound Care, dressing changes, tube feeds, TPN, IV Insertion and PICC lines, wound and skin care required. Ability to take scheduled On Call Hours for Acute Care and Maternity.
Preferred Qualifications:Defibrillation, IV, NRP and ACLS certifications preferred. If not completed prior to hire, can be completed within 3 months of hire through in-service education. Emergency Room and Labor and Delivery experience and associated certifications preferred.
