Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with 2 years' experience in the last 5 years at the equivalent of a 0.50 FTE or greater in the Alberta zone public health program. Minimum 1 year of experience in the last 5 years with practical application of the Alberta provincial immunization program, schedule, and standards within the zone public health program is required. Ability to think critically in assessing and executing complex deliverables with minimal supervision and without standardized scripting. Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a complex change-oriented environment. Computer proficiency with the ability to use multiple applications simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with immunization/CDC databases (CD/OM, Meditech, Netcare, Redcap) and software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
