Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to travel, lift 30lbs in and out of vehicle. 2 years of experience in a community based setting. 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience. Previous experience in Community Care, Home Care, transitions, or supportive living. Ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Home Care experience within the last 5 years. Degree in Nursing. Experience working with acute clients &/or long term clients with a focus on chronic disease management. Experience providing case management services. (CNA) certificate in Gerontology. Experience in Home Parenteral Therapy (HPT), wound, skin & ostomy care, palliative support & client teaching. Advanced wound care experience. Palliative care experience. Experience working with seniors, adults & pediatrics.
