Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years of health care experience. 1 year minimum of NWT, Nunavut, or Yukon health care experience, preferably in an NWT, Nunavut or Yukon Community Health Centre setting. Other Outpost Nursing service will be considered. Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. Understand the needs of patients from northern communities. Ability to assume rotating on call if deemed necessary. Must have a valid Alberta driver’s license and use of own vehicle.
