Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 year recent surgical nursing experience is required. Ophthalmology and or Otolaryngology experience is required. Excellent organizational skills are essential. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Critical thinking skills are essential and the successful candidate must have the ability to perform all required tasks during a medical emergency.
Preferred Qualifications:Charge nurse experience preferred. Experience with thyroidectomy patients preferred.
