Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong organizational and assessment skills required with the ability to communicate findings in a concise and accurate manner to the multidisciplinary team. Must also possess strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills with the capability of adapting and working in a fast paced dynamic environment. Must be able to lift, transfer, and carry more than 10 pounds. Pediatric acute care experience required. Pediatric Oncology/Hematology knowledge and experience (within the last two years) required. APHON certification.
Preferred Qualifications:APHON certification preferred. Previous experience in an 4E2 dayward/clinic an asset.
