Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:Demonstrated excellent assessment, documentation, clinical, organizational and patient care skills. Ability to communicate findings in a concise and accurate manner. Must be able to identify own learning needs and seek guidance in professional practice where knowledge deficit occurs. Alberta Health Services reserves the ability to hire individuals with less experience or education, Successful completion of the Critical Care Orientation program is required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:1 year of critical care experience preferred (successful completion of Alberta Health Services Critical Care Challenge Exam at the discretion of the hiring manager).
