Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

In this role, the Registered Nurse must have the ability to use critical thinking skills to plan, assess, implement and evaluate client centered care. Your exceptional communication skills are a must, as well as your ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships. You must have the ability to work independently, providing continuity, leadership, including direction, supervision, mentoring, constructive feedback and client care coordination to other professionals and unregulated staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in a relevant specialty area, charge nurse experience, past leadership training/experience are an asset. At least two years nursing experience.
