Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 year Ambulatory/Outpatient experience. Training and experience utilizing eClinician; both for scheduling and EMR. Mastery in comprehensive patient assessment and decision making. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and independence of nursing practice in a highly function team environment (balance numerous demands and conflicting priorities). Strong critical thinking skills, along with demonstrated time-management and organization skills in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated expertise in adult teaching and education. Demonstrated leadership skills; motivation and mentorship abilities to assist a team in achieving a common goal. Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment, constant walking, lifting and bending necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice will be considered.
