Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:O-Prep online instructional certification. Experience and certification in the use of IV infusions pumps, port-a-caths, central venous lines. Experience in communication skills utilizing a variety of modalities (Documentation; verbal, electronic). Experience in Computer Literacy and abilities. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar setting an asset. Time management skills an asset.
