Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program. Active registration with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an Advanced Care Paramedic. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits. Completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test taken no more than six (6) months prior to the application date.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Please Note that this is a weekday office job. Please disregard any reference to F.A.R.E. testing. Clinical experience is essential in this role. Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals, clients and other members of the community are required. Evidence of personal professional development. Highly organized individual as data tracking/collection is a key component to this position. Experience and understanding in the areas of patient safety, ethics, privacy, advocacy and patient care. Health Information Act/FOIP knowledge. Ability to promote and build multidisciplinary care concept. Experience with Microsoft office programs is required. Familiar with respective ePCR, data/records management systems. In depth knowledge of AHS EMS system. Knowledge of Community Care programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

University Degree or other College diploma is considered a strong asset. Project management training is an asset. Experience with care plan development and case management is an asset. Experience with medical records and other patient care information is an asset. AHS e-record and NetCare knowledge is an asset. Previous experience with other EMS special projects is an asset.
