Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).
Additional Required Qualifications:2-year minimal experience in a dental clinic as a registered dental assistant. Experience with the application of dental sealant and fluoride varnish in pediatric and geriatric population. Must demonstrate great problem-solving skills, communication and teamwork. Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of Microsoft office.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with pediatric and geriatric population. Good working knowledge for Community Health Services and the AHS Oral Health Action Plan. Meditech and Connectcare training preferred.
