Completion of an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program. Active registration with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an Advanced Care Paramedic. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits. Completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test taken no more than six (6) months prior to the application date.
Additional Required Qualifications:Active registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Paramedics, without restrictions or conditions. Heart and Stroke Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BCLS-HCP) certification (Level C).
Preferred Qualifications:Metro, Suburban-Rural or Intra-facility transport operations experience, including Specialty Team Member roles such as Flights, TEMS, IRP, & MIH. Industrial, Firefighting, Emergency or Critical Care Nursing. Resume to include name of service/employer, employment tenure with dates. Post-Secondary Education: Completion of post-secondary education (Doctorate, Master, Bachelor's degree; Diploma or Certificate). Resume to include name of institution attended, program completed and graduation date.
