Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration for Professional Membership with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA). Minimum three years' related clinical experience as a Recreation Therapist.
Additional Required Qualifications:Baccalaureate in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies or meets the criteria for a professional membership with the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association. Active member of the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association. Previous experience as a Recreation Therapist developing and providing functional intervention, leisure education and recreation participation in a variety of clinical and community settings. Physically capable of pushing wheelchairs for an extended period of time and performing client transfers.
Preferred Qualifications:Able to chart electronically, experience with Connect Care (Epic) is preferred.
