Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health concerns. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of harm reduction and trauma informed practices. Experience with both group and individual education and treatment would be required. Experience in individual assessment is necessary. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with an electronic medical record would be an asset. Background in program planning would be helpful. Previous experience in live-in treatment settings would be an asset.
