Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Class 3 driver’s license. CPR and first aid.
Preferred Qualifications:1-2 years full time equivalent experience in a recreational therapy role. 1-2 years recreational therapist role experience in LTC or supportive living environment. Experience using RAI and MARCC. Dynamic and flexible personality, able to adapt to changing needs of residents.
