Calgary Radiopharmaceutical Centre is recruiting a full time permanent Radiopharmacy Specialist I. The focus of this position is to 1- Prepare and dispense radiotracers. 2- Manufacture cold Kits.
Description:
As a Radiopharmacy Specialist, you will prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals from both commercial kits and raw materials. You will assist in the use and maintenance of scientific equipment and instrumentation, radiation and workplace health and safety procedures, develop and write Standard Operating Procedures, check supply inventory, prepare and dispense radiopharmaceutical kit production and assist in the packaging and transportation of radiopharmaceuticals.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry or a related field or equivalent level of education and experience. Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or Certification with the Canadian College of Radiopharmaceutical Scientists (CCRS) where applicable.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a Nuclear Medicine Dpt or a Radiopharmacy are preferred. CAMRT and CCRS certification are a plus but are not required.
