Required Qualifications:

CCPM in Radiation Oncology Physics or equivalent (ABR, ABMP). PhD or MSc in Medical Physics. Extensive knowledge of clinical physics and ability to take responsibility for critical clinical decisions. Adaptability and ability to work independently and as an effective team member. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good listening skills. Ability to work effectively with scientific and medical professionals, all members of the multidisciplinary health care team and students. Well organized, efficient and able to meet competing priorities and deadlines. Solid teaching, coaching and mentoring skills. Good presentation skills. Independent project leadership must be evident.


Additional Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent oral, writing and listening skills, as well as strong work ethic and positive attitude; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work well under pressure; strong commitment to the highest clinical standards; proven experience directing teams and major clinical projects; history of contributing to the collective Medical Physics knowledge base and sharing work (e.g., strong peer-reviewed publication record, presentations at conferences).


Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate of a CAMPEP-accredited graduate and/or residency program. FCCPM an asset. Proven track record of clinical, academic and teaching excellence plus 5+ years clinical experience. Experience and/or interest in brachytherapy is desirable.
